Recommended Recipes

These are recipes that we (more often than not Sasha) have tried, and find to be of fairly high quality, to the point that we will probably make them again (or have already made them more than once), and would recommend them as something to be tried.

 

Breakfast

Cream Drop Biscuits - These are great breakfast items - rich (because of the cream), and quick to make (Sasha says 5-10 minutes prep time, plus 18-20 minutes to bake).

 

Salads

QUINOA AND BLACK BEAN SALAD - This is a great summer dish, made with quinoa, black beans, and lots of cilantro. It tastes great, and takes the heat out of hot summer days.

 

Desserts

Norbert's Chocolate Pie, or as Epicurious likes to call it, 'fudgy brownie bars'. This is about as chocolatey as you can get. Don't even ask about calories or useless details like that. As the name indicates, we usually make this in a round dish, but I don't think it much matters.
