| I had been invited to a costume party my friend was throwing, and all I had to do was show up in Denmark for the party. It seemed like a great idea, and since the round-the-world-ticket seemed to be all-accomodating for flights within Europe I made a stopover in Copenhagen. I must admit I was quite taken aback when I realized quite how far Aarhus was from Copenhagen, but it seemed like a great chance to see all those viking runes I'd been so into as a teen, so after a short stay in Copenhagen - which seemed at the time the most intimidating city I'd been to, perhaps because I'd gotten used to speaking English, I headed west to a Viking village, and then over to Aarhus, to party like a (Danish) rock star. | |||
