sick kittens

Yesterday was Mina's annual visit to the vet, and she celebrated the day by being ill. So after taking her to the vet and getting her vaccinated for rabies, we got to spend the rest of the evening debating how often frequent vomiting was, and thus whether a trip to the ER was called for. In the end, we decided to trust nature to take care of itself, and that seems to have worked just fine.

Ok, apparently our cats are on the same schedule, because we've been dealing with a very similar issue from robin, who has been vomitting a bit more frequently than normal and had us on edge for a couple of days, since that is how the last emergency vet visit started. She also seems to have worked things out without issue.

Must be something up with kitties this week... mine, too.

I'm glad to hear that nature did work itself out in Mina's case.

I'll also join the bandwagon of those who have barfing cats.  Overnight one of mine left a present on the carpet.  It was probably Puma, considering she goes through phases of throwing up every other day, followed by weeks of not throwing up at all.  :/

 

I'm feeling fortunate that I have a dog, who is not currently throwing up.  However, he was also at the vet on Tuesday, but it will be at least until next week before I find out what is ailing him.
