Black truffles are one of my most favourite discoveries on this planet. My family gave me a wonderful book on them but it's a bit big to scan and post... I find that the simplest things go best with black truffles: The most classic being an omelette. Eggs and black truffle are the classic combination. Even a soft boiled egg with a slice of truffle in the middle can be divine. Then there's pasta. Simple pasta with lots of butter, bits of truffle and slices (not grated) parmesan.
